Oak City Family,
We are stepping into an exciting new season for Oak City Kids, and I’m so thrilled to share a few big updates with you! At Oak City, we are here to equip Kingdom people, and that includes our kids. Our mission is to help every child Experience God’s Presence, Belong to a Family, Become who God says they are, and Demonstrate Heaven on Earth.
Over the last 8 years, we have seen an incredible impact in our Kids Ministry. I am so grateful for every volunteer, leader, and parent who has partnered with us to equip Kingdom Kids! We’ve hosted Kids More Nights, Popsicles and Prophecy, campouts, and so much more over the years, and I know we are just getting started with all that God has in store for our kids! As many of you know, we have been looking to make a purposed and pointed investment into our kid’s ministry area, and I am so excited to share some of the ways we are fulfilling this goal with you.

A NEW OAK CITY LOBBY EXPERIENCE
- A larger lobby and connection center
- A central check-in / drop-off location for ALL Oak City Kids
- A Mother’s Room with a service live-feed
A NEW OAK CITY KIDS EXPERIENCE
- A central space for Oak City Kids Worships
- A larger space for Acorns Class (Birth-2 yrs)
- A new classroom for Seedlings Class (2-3 yrs)
- Sprouts Class (Pre-K + Kindergarten) will remain in KWC
- Oaklings will be led to the House for their small group time
INCREASING CAPACITY
- Increases our Main Building kids capacity by 110%
- This is an increase from 31 to 65 kids

We are excited for the future of Oak City Kids and believe that God has His best in store for our families, kids, and students!
Oak City Church is in a healthy financial position. Over the past three years, we have paid down nearly half of our debt from $800,000 to $380,000 while living below our means and staying under our trustee-approved budget. Thanks to God’s provision and your generosity, our church is financially strong and well-positioned for the future.
With this solid foundation and God’s clear leading, we are launching an exciting Next Gen building Initiative: renovating the back of our main property to invest in our Kids Ministry and meet the growing needs of our next generation. For this season, we are pausing accelerated debt payoff to focus on growth.
The total cost of this renovation project is estimated at $300,000. As a church, we are committing a $100,000 seed investment from our savings funds made possible through your faithful giving this year. The board has approved this investment, and if needed, we can finance the remaining balance, though our prayer is to see the full amount provided by the end of this year.
We are simply asking you to prayerfully ask the Father if, and what, He would have you give toward this initiative. Every dollar will go directly toward the project, and any extra will help with furniture and décor
